Epic, pt. 5 - Jericho

Israel arrives at the fortified city of Jericho to find the gates are shut tight, but God delivers the city through unusual means: seven days of marching around the city. God calls us to action. Oftentimes, it's not as we expect. We are called to forgive when it seems more natural to attack. We are called to give when we feel like holding back. We are called to rest when we feel the need to produce. Are you moving with God's rhythm?

From Series: "Epic - July"

Throughout this series, we have learned that God is inviting us to join Him on an epic adventure. In June, our focus was perspective: how we see our circumstances, others, ourselves, and our past. This month, we're going to look at how God's epic adventure invites active participation. We are called to move in step with God. Think of it this way: A conductor sets rhythm. The orchestra follows the conductor's lead, each playing their selected part. And the result is something beautiful. THAT is what God is calling us to be part of.
