The discovery of iron and its uses changed the course of history. Iron ore is first mined and then purified. By adding carbon during the process iron is transformed into steel, which is much stronger. Both purification and transformation require heat, fire. Just as iron is melted and steel is forged in fire, God walks us through a similar process of formation. Forged in Fire will reveal the spiritual formation process God is using to remove the impurities, make us stronger, and shape us according to his plans and purposes.
