Esther is, in many ways, faced with the same issue as King David. Things aren't going as expected, and not only are the Israelites in exile, there are individuals seeking their destruction. Esther finds herself in a position of influence. She must carefully navigate her position to protect God's people, and rely on the counsel of others. But ultimately, she must seize the opportunity she's been given. We too must recognize our own opportunities in the midst of ad lib.
This is the final month in our Epic journey. In June, we learned that when we share God's perspective, we join God's epic adventure. Last month, we learned our movement (action) is connected to the move of God. That we move in step with Him, in His rhythm. In part three of this series, we'll talk about how to stay focused on God's epic adventure when things don't go as planned.
