Israel is still in exile, though we're several years past the days of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Once again persecution comes because Daniel will not go with the flow. He refuses to worship the king, and openly worships God. He's led to the lion's den, and once again God intercedes. But the point of the story is this: whether God intercedes or not, we will worship only God.
This is the final month in our Epic journey. In June, we learned that when we share God's perspective, we join God's epic adventure. Last month, we learned our movement (action) is connected to the move of God. That we move in step with Him, in His rhythm. In part three of this series, we'll talk about how to stay focused on God's epic adventure when things don't go as planned.

We believe discipleship occurs in the midst of conversation, and hope the discussions we’ve pulled from the archives not only help you dig a little deeper into your own faith, but that they’ll inspire further dialogue with those you do life with in your homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces.
