The Prophets

Throughout the Word of God, we see the story of redemption that finds fulfillment in Jesus Christ. God's plans are beyond our comprehension, for He works in ways that the world doesn't expect or understand... yet He understands us on a very deep, very personal level. In the broad scope of God's eternal story, we need to look beyond the Christmas season to find our ultimate hope. He is the Prince of Peace.

Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 1:27, Micah 5:2-5a, Isaiah 9:6-7, Psalms 22:1, Mark 15:34, Psalms 22:28-31

From Series: "Fear Not"

Fear is an unpleasant (and often strong) emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. For some, fear is defined by darkness, heights, roll coasters or spiders. For others, fear impacts on a deeper level. Fear of unfulfilled hopes and dreams. Fear of disappoint, shame, and judgment. Fear of the unexpected, of being inadequate or unworthy, unloved or forgotten. Fear attacks us where faith begins and prevents us from experiencing the fullness of life found in faith. "Fear Not" will help us overcome our fears and compel us to choose faith and obedience. From God’s messages to the prophets to the angels' visits to Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds - we will be assured God is still with us!
