In Micah 6:8, we are told to walk humbly with God. On Christmas Sunday, we celebrate the gift that made this possible.
The gift of Jesus allows us to live differently and to bless others. Jesus modeled this by walking humbly with God, which allowed him to live in obedience in the opportunities he was given. He didn't rush through life. He made the most of those God-moments. Who or what determines the pace and direction of your life? God wants to live at a pace and within an awareness of his presence and direction.
Though the prophet Micah, God clearly expresses his desire for his people--"to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." Jesus is the gift of God that demonstrates the love of God. As we walk like Jesus did, (doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with our God) we regift the love of God.
